Sana Bau is a current PhD candidate in the School of BioSciences at The University of Melbourne. Sana’s research takes an integrated perspective on emerging conservation issues. Sana’s research interests span a broad spectrum of topics relevant to the environmental science-policy intersection. In particular, her work investigates the cognitive dimensions of decision making under uncertainty. Sana is curious about how evidence and risk-based information is used in decision making aimed at achieving conservation outcomes.
Previously, Sana completed a Master of Environment degree, which incorporated independent research that had an applied ecology/conservation biology focus.
